The Greenwood Historical District
North of downtown to the east of the Brady District an area which was once called Black Wall Street, this was the scene of the Tulsa Race Riot in 1921 when thirty-five blocks of businesses and homes were burned during the worst racial riot in the history of the U.S. The area has been revitalized and is now home to the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame, Oklahoma State University, Tulsa and Langston University. This is also the home of the Greenwood Cultural Center. East Village
When looking for Tulsa homes take time out to visit the East Village. This is a neighborhood consisting of about 115 blocks. The Katy Railway borders one side. Uptown
