The following market statistics has been compiled from the Tulsa Board of REALTORS for the period beginning June 1, 2008 and ending June 30, 2008.

With 2,159 homes listed with Tulsa real estate agents you can clearly see that the realtors have been working hard. There are 1339 sales pending and another 1182 that have closed. The average time a home has been on the market has dropped sharply from an already low 58 days in May to 49 days in June.

Around the nation home prices have been treading water, so to speak. Not so here, I am pleased to report the average sales price has jumped from $156,938 in May to $175,133 in June. The average listing price for June 2008 was $196,153.

It has been a great month for Tulsa real estate. One sale to mention would be a breathtaking Sheridan Oaks Estate home. This home closed on June 3rd for $2,850,000. A beautiful 11,732 square foot home nestled on just over an acre of land with a pool, 4 bedrooms, 8 baths, 5 fireplaces and a 5 car garage.
