Tulsa, OK Spring Has Sprung Events!
Spring has sprung in Tulsa and it's time to take advantage of some outdoor events going on this month. Here are some highlights of some of the activies avaiable, and some that I will be attending again this year - I hope to see you there too!

Tulsa Garden Center's SpringFest Garden Market & Festival
Location: 2435 S. Peoria
Hours: 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Here you will find every type of plant, gardening information, garden art, food and fun. It's a gardening extravaganza you won't want to miss! Proceeds from SpringFest Garden Market and Festival benefit the Tulsa Garden Center. For more information call 918-746-5125.

Tulsa Zoo and Living Museum
Location : 6421 E. 36th St. N.
Hours: 9am-5pm
Greener than ever, the Tulsa Zoo's annual EarthFest celebration is back and ready to welcome you! Celebrate with them the Party for the Planet and help increase environmental awareness as the Tulsa Zoo hosts EarthFest 2009. They will also present an EarthFest Hero to an individual and company in the community that dedicates time and efforts to being green. This year represents the 59th Annual Garden Tour of Oklahoma's largest garden club, plus the Annual Standard Flower Show will be running during the same days featuring, "Tulsa's Spring Beauty." The Tour will showcase private gardens dressed for spring, along with floral designs and horticulture to educate visitors about the art of gardening, horticulture, landscape design, environmental sciences.

Ok, so yes, this is not entirely along the same Spring lines as the other events, but how can you not include it in the top events of the Tulsa area?! If you haven't got your tickets yet (which range between $40 - $100) you may be too late! You may be lucky enough to grab a couple of tickets at the door though...
