...is coming up and you will not want to miss the fun and excitement of this wonderful event. The Mayfest will be held on the Main Street area of downtown Tulsa between 3rd and 6th Streets, 4th between Boston and Main and the Green between Boston and Main at 3rd. Mark your calendars and do not miss this family oriented occasion. This is a tribute for art and music lovers. Whether you are 8 or 80 it will be an all around good time for all.
Whether you are a long-time resident, or here as a visitor, just beginning your search for Tulsa, OK real estate, this event may be enjoyed by all on the following dates, either with your family or you can go it alone, because it does not cost a single penny:
Thursday, May 14th - 11 am- 11 pm
Friday, May 15th - 11 am- 11 pm

Sunday, May 17th - 11 am- 6 pm

With 120 artists from everywhere in the nation, an indoor Gallery featuring the art of the Center for Individuals with Physical Challenges clients, an indoor Youth Art Gallery and 3 stages packed with entertainment for your enjoyment, you will want to go all four days. The Visual Arts which are a part of Tulsa Mayfest are judged very carefully before being accepted into Mayfest.
The Visual Artists
The Juried Artists are another part of this spectacular time and they offer many fine art pieces from jewelry to sculpture. The Market Artists have a variety of items they have crafted - leather items, toys, hand-painted T-shirts and folk art. There is something for everyone.
Youth Art Gallery
Over 500 talented student artists in Tulsa County will be showing their work from Thursday to Saturday during the hours of 11 am to 6 pm and again on Sunday from 11 am to 5 pm. This indoor exhibition will be in the Performing Arts Center located at 3rd and Cincinnati.
Invitational Gallery
The best Tulsa, OK has to offer will be guest at the Mayfest Invitational Gallery to show their work and by the way, all the work is for sell too. This event will be in the Williams Towers lobby at 3rd and Boulder and will be open Thursday to Saturday from 11 am to 6 pm and Sunday from 11 am to 3 pm.
Performing Artists
There will be concerts galore at the Mayfest with over 75 performances over the duration of the event. Make sure you are at the Williams Green Stage on Friday and Saturday nights. This is located at 3rd and Boston and Friday's special guest is Sister Hazel. Enjoy Old 97's on Saturday night and have a rockin' good time.
Creative Culture Courtyard
Samson Plaza is the host for the live art and performance art at the Creative Culture Courtyard on Friday from 4 pm to 8 pm and again on Saturday from 11am to 8 pm. Here's your chance to shine while performing in the areas they have set aside for live performances. The other activities will be Body Art, Human Art Installation Dancing Butterflies, Chalk Art, Drumming by Jascha and Poetry. This is guaranteed to be a good time with friends and family.
Souvenirs
Do not leave the Tulsa Mayfest without your souvenirs. There are many from which to choose including commemorative posters signed by the artists. There are 100% organic t-shirts, note cards and many of the past souvenirs of Mayfest. The last thing you want to do is leave Mayfest without something to remember the great time you enjoyed. The souvenirs are at 319 S. Main; also available at Bartlett Square located at 5th and Main.
