We are just exiting from the worst ice storm in Tulsa and Oklahoma history but they are getting most people's power back on finally.

I've never seen so many trees broken or splintered or downed by a storm (including a few in my yard).

But most people and business weathered the storm with a can do attitude which is why I like Tulsa and the people and the communities in the area.

Amazingly, the real estate avtivity level has been fairly busy.  I have customers still asking me about properties for sale and I have had many showings on the homes I have listed for sale.

The residential real estate market in Tulsa will likely have its second best year ever (second only to last year), and according to the Greater Tulsa Association of REALTORS, it appears 2007 will finish with the highest sales prices and sales volume in the history of the greater Tulsa market.

That being said, a recent article in Smart Money magazine (December 2007) reported homes in the Tulsa area are still 19% undervalued.

With interest rates in the 6% range and at 2 year lows, it's a great time to buy in the Tulsa market.
